I found a pretty solid article discussing the shift in public opinion regarding the war in Afghanistan. Although more people are now opposed to the war, public opinion favors Obama’s decision to increase the number of troops.

This could be a key piece of evidence if you choose to discuss public opinion on the Pro side.
