The Midwest Classic is the Public Forum division of the Bob Bilyeau Winter Classic held every year at Parkview High School in Springfield, Missouri.  The Midwest has consistently produced some of the most successful debate teams in the history of Public Forum Debate.  Of the seven Public Forum national champions, three have hailed from the Midwest including one Classic participant (Colston, Covey 05′ Champions).

The Classic is the premier speech and debate tournament in the Midwest for those looking to compete against the best.  Adding to it’s credentials, the Public Forum section is a National Qualifier for the Tournament of Champions (TOC).  The TOC is the most prestigious invitational tournament aside from the NFL Nationals. Competing in the competition is an honor.
